In connection with Aarhus University's MatchPoints Seminar 2014, this time with the subject 'Trust', we organise a seminar for executives in the private and public sectors. The seminar will take place Friday 23 May and focus on trust and management.
The purpose of the seminar is to illuminate how trust and the creation of trust are crucial for good management as well as working environment.
Language: The main part of the seminar will be held in Danish
Venue: The Lakeside Lecture Theatres, Bartholins Allé 3, 8000 Aarhus.
Time: Friday 23 May, 9.00-16.30.
Fee: DKK 1.125. This fee is incl. the Evening Event with Robert Putnam, but not the conference dinner Friday or the Inspiration Day Thursday (in Danish).
The programme will consist of four sections:
9.00-10.30
1. Management, power and distrust
Presentation (in english) by professor Stein Ringen (Oxford University) and professor Sverre Raffnsøe (Copenhagen Business School).
10.30-10.50: Coffee
10.50-11.50 and 13.00-14.00 (lunch 11.50-13.00)
2. Long-distance management and IT (in Danish)
Presentation by head of HR and management Rikke B. Ørum (Danish Chamber of Commerce) and business group manager Aaren Ekelund (Microsoft).
14.00-14.45
3. Trust and management at international workplaces (in Danish)
Presentation by anthropologist Dennis Nørmark (chief consultant and partner, Living Institute).
15.00-15.20: Coffee
15.20-16.35
4. Trust in change and reform (in Danish)
Presentation by associate professor Thomas S. Jønsson (Aarhus University).
Panel debate (in Danish) with director of development Andy Andresen (FTF), head of negotiation of the trust reform (Tillidsreformen) Marianne Brinch-Fischer (Kommunernes Landsforening), head of HR and management Rikke B. Ørum (Danish Chamber of Commerce), head of section Morten Kerrn-Jespersen (Danish Working Environment Council) and mayor of Aarhus Jacob Bundsgaard.
